Bringing your dog to the fairground might be very stressful for the animal and for other visitors.Therefore, we strongly recommend not to bring your dog to the fairground. This saves your pet the stressful walk through the crowd and allows the visitors a secure and fearless visit.

If you still want to bring your dog to the fairground, please keep it on a leash at all times.

Dangerous dogs as defined in the Official Hamburg Dog Regulation are not allowed to enter.

The catalogue is available in the entrance areas and at the information points. After the Fair, the catalogue can also be ordered online. The exhibitor directory can be consulted on the website or via smartphones.

No, public transport (HVV) is not included in SMM tickets. 

Yes. To use our online ticket shop, you need:

• A valid credit card or invitation card; and
• A working printer connected to your computer

If you have any problems when calling up our ticket shop, please check your Internet browser settings to see if cookies are permitted.

Yes, within 14 days from date of purchase, you can cancel online tickets as follows:

• In writing via e-mail to osc@hamburg-messe.de
• Indicating your name, your address, and
• Type and quantity of tickets purchased.

You will get your money back if you have cancelled in writing within the cancellation period. The appropriate amount will then be credited to your credit card after the end of the event. It is not possible to return admission tickets purchased on site.

Day ticket are valid for one day and one person only. 2-days-tickets and season tickets are valid for two or more days but also for one person only.

All steps in the online ticket shop are handled via a secure server link. Where payment by credit is necessary, this is effected via Saferpay, an external secure booking system.

Yes. After completion and printing of your ticket, you will receive confirmation via e-mail. This e mail includes a link for repeat access to the online ticket shop, where you can print your ticket again if necessary. Please keep this e mail until after your visit to the event.

No. The confirmation e-mail does not replace your online ticket. Its purpose is simply to acknowledge your online ticket purchase, and to inform you of your link in the event that you need to reprint your ticket.
